At Lumen Apartments in Tysons, Virginia, SUNDEK of Washington was hired to create the surfaces for walkways, sitting areas, BBQ area, and patio areas for a shared outdoor living space. To get the modern, rustic look that Lumens was looking for, SUNDEK used their SunStone pattern in travertine finish in both gray and light gray colors. When landscape architects LandDesign began working on new outdoor spaces for Lumen Apartments in Tysons, Virginia, they knew they wanted a hardscape solution that would hold up for the long term, be easy to maintain, and also be beautiful—so they contacted SUNDEK of Washington. Despite space constraints and other unique challenges, SUNDEK created a beautiful patio and pool deck on the 7th and 32nd floors of the Lumens building. When Stevenson Village decided to make updates on their property, they hired SUNDEK of Washington to resurface their walkways and the floors of the breezeways of their three-story condos. SUNDEK resurfaced the spaces using an epoxy finish and a classic texture concrete overlay. Even though the condos were occupied while SUNDEK was working, they were able to complete the job in a timely manner while keeping the living areas tidy for residents.
